If you\u2019re an established education with a set of veteran teachers, or a new education wondering where to focus your attention, there is something for you here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <a href=\"https:\/\/gotlandgameconference.com\/2018\/european-symposium-of-the-higher-education-video-game-alliance\/\">the past two years<\/a> the Educators Summit has created a space to discuss the subjects that gather under the banner of <strong>game education<\/strong>. We have looked at teaching, research, outreach to industry and how to form a closer bond with each other. It has been instrumental in the forming of a European wing of the <a href=\"https:\/\/hevga.org\/\">Higher Education Video Games Alliance<\/a>, and the formation of a <a href=\"https:\/\/game.speldesign.uu.se\/blog\/games-research-summer-school-21-23-aug\/\">HEVGA Research Summer School<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have three things to ask of you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/fT2vZcUhKwrP9gna7\">Fill in this pre-meeting survey<\/a>. Whether you can come or not &#8211; this information will help us keep future summits relevant! <\/li><li>Consider <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/nbPiQLqTVHh1LM9a9\">submitting a talk for the summit<\/a><\/li><li>And <a href=\"https:\/\/ti.to\/campus-gotland-game\/ggc2019\/\">register for your ticket on ti.to<\/a> (combined tickets for the <a href=\"https:\/\/gotlandgameconference.com\/2019\/\">Gotland Game Conference<\/a> + Educator Summit  are available!)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, we\u2019re looking for presentations of what and how you teach. If you\u2019d like to submit a presentation, these are some areas to focus on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What is your education&#8217;s unique niche?<\/li><li>How did you develop your unique niche?<\/li><li>What is your education&#8217;s biggest weakness and threat?<\/li><li>Do you have innovative methods of teaching your content?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Slots are available for 15 &#8211; 45 minute presentations, <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/nbPiQLqTVHh1LM9a9\">submit your talk through this form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We understand what it means to ask educators to take days away from their subjects. It has always been our goal that the summit be a place of value for our participants and this year is no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to start delivering on a promise: an international network of teachers who are willing to travel and teach in other departments. The presentations are meant as adverts and request: tell us what you\u2019re great at, tell us what you need.<br><br>And bring your business cards.
