With the world in lockdown during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, we moved the entire event online &#8211; transforming our annual show floor into a global digital game jam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of campus crowds and in-person playtesting, <strong>39 student teams<\/strong> published their games on <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/itch.io\/jam\/gotland-game-conference-2020\/entries\">itch.io<\/a>. The whole world was invited to play, comment, and rate the games, resulting in over <strong>1,700 ratings<\/strong> and <strong>500+ pieces of feedback<\/strong> in just four days!
