GGC Exhibitor Standards

As an exhibitor at the Gotland Game Conference (GGC), you agree to adhere to the following standards:

  1. Timely Delivery of Deliverables: You commit to delivering all required materials and information by the stipulated deadlines.
  2. Conduct during the Conference: You agree always to maintain a professional demeanor on the show floor. This includes respecting all conference attendees, staff, jury, speakers, and other exhibitors. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  3. Booth Staffing: You agree to limit the number of representatives at your booth to no more than two at any given time. This is to ensure a manageable and comfortable environment for all attendees.
  4. Booth Staffing Schedule: You agree to schedule reasonable shifts for staffing your booth and to adhere to this schedule. This helps ensure a smooth operation and prevents overworking of any one individual.
  5. Maintenance of Booth and Surrounding Areas: You agree to keep your booth area clean and free from clutter, such as boxes, backpacks, trash, etc, starting an hour before the conference and throughout its duration. Moreover, as an exhibitor, you are expected to respect your neighboring booths by helping maintain the cleanliness of the general surroundings, not just your booth area.
  6. Interactions with the Jury and Feedback: You are expected to interact respectfully with the jury members and to accept their feedback professionally. Any disagreements or disputes should be handled politely and constructively.

Consequences for Not Adhering to Standards: Failure to adhere to these standards may result in a range of consequences, including disqualifications from awards, expulsion from the conference, and disqualification from future GGC events. The decision regarding consequences will be taken by the head of the department.

Registering as an exhibitor at the Gotland Game Conference signifies understanding and accepting these standards.
