Apply to the Jury

Unfortunately the GGC 2020 is cancelled, due to the global Coronavirus epidemic and its consequences.

The jury consists of a diverse set of individuals from around the world, who volunteer their time and experience to listen to our students’ presentations, play all of their games and deliver the awards for outstanding achievements. Each member brings their own distinct expertise and share that insight directly with the students at the Gotland Game Conference.

This is a great way for game companies to support higher education and scout talent before anyone else gets the chance. Last year saw 19 game companies represented on the Jury, such as King, CD Project Red, Might & Delight, Star Stable and many more.

Want to apply for the jury?

The jury arrive a day early (2/6) to attend student presentations (2-4 hours, with breaks) and then play their games on the show floor and provide thoughtful and constructive feedback throughout the conference. Jury duty requires no work prior to the event, but once here you will have to prioritize and make time to play all games – enough to provide fair criticism and advice.
